Who are we?
Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers Ltd is an Insurance Brokers working with you. We provide Commercial and Personal Insurance Products including claim management. We access insurance markets in Ireland/UK and Europe.

The purpose for processing your data

We need to collect your personal data to enable us to provide you with Insurance Products that you have requested us to supply to you. This may be a Commercial Insurance Product, Personal Insurance Product, or process a claim on your behalf. You may also require us to pay refunds to your Bank Account.

In order for us to provide you with Insurance Products & Services including Claims Management, Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers Ltd need to collect personal data. Our reason (lawful reason) for processing your data under the GDPR is:

  • Legal basis – Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers Ltd needs to process your data as this is necessary for relation to a contract of insurance to which the individual has entered into or because the individual has asked for something to be done so they can enter into a contract

Retention of your personal data

Data will not be held for longer than is necessary for the purpose(s) for which they were obtained. Dickson & Wilson Insurance Brokers Ltd will process personal data in accordance with our retention schedule. This retention schedule has been governed by our regulatory body, The Central Bank of Ireland and our internal governance.

Complaints

Failure to provide further information

If we are collecting your data for a contract of Insurance and you cannot provide this data the consequences of this could mean the contract cannot be completed or details are incorrect.
